Everyone wishes to fly, if not at least some. But in order to achieve this now, we can use the airplane to take as in on a flight. Riding on a plane is not usual for my everyday life. It is far from what I have been doing for my daily routine. But, how does it really feel when you are in to it for ride? Since I never did ride on an airplane, I expect I will experience amazing things. Amazing things that will make me feel so happy and could be one of the most wonderful memories in my whole life and hoping that we will not encounter a problem that will lead us into an accident. I am much excited on our Major Field Trip because we are able to go in Manila and we will take a plane ride. As a first timer, I also expect it would never be easy because plane is far different from jeepney and buses that I am used to ride on for my necessities.
When I was a kid, I always ran quickly in getting out of our house when I hear the sound of an airplane just to watch it fly. As a child, I always love to watch a plane up in the sky. Of course, every child wishes to ride on an airplane just to have some experience and also to see things below when you are inside the plane. I also dream since I was a kid that someday I can ride on an airplane but now, my dreams came true and I am so happy and very much excited to take a ride on an airplane.
There are a lot of things that I expect on my first plane ride. First thing that I expect is what will be my feelings when I saw the house or tallest buildings below on us when we fly. Would it be amazing to look at or would it make me feel so nervous because I am very much afraid of heights. Will I vomit inside the plane? Hope I will not. Will I get dizzy when the plane starts to fly? Hope I will not because if I get sleep on a plane, I will not be able to see the beauty or the wonders of nature when we are on top of the land, because it’s nice to look down so that you can see the whole view, amazing and beautiful view of nature that God perfectly made for us.
Second thing that I expect on a plane ride is that what would be my reactions when I see personally the plane that will going to ride. Would it make me so amazed or would it make me feel okay. I expect that it would make me feel so amazed when I see the airplane in front of me because I never seen yet an airplane parking in front of me.
Third one is the facilities inside the plane. Would it be the same as air-conditioned bus or much wider and cooler than that? Would it be the same as what I had saw on television especially in Be Careful with my Heart, noon time teleserye when Maya was trained inside the plane? I expect that the chairs are much comfortable to sit, their comfort rooms are clean and no gums were pasted on the ceiling even under the chairs, their windows are clean so that I can see things clear below when the plane started to fly.
Fourth one is that how the flight stewards do their job inside the plane. Did they dance in performing a safety precautions demonstration for us? For me I prefer those flight stewards who will dance during their safety precaution demonstrations so that they will catch 95% of the passengers’ attention. It is fun to saw that kind of staff or crew inside a plane to ease the boredom of some passengers and also to make us happy. I also expect the cost or the amount of the food inside the plane that it will be so expensive that is why we will have our own “baon” or package of food so that we can avoid buying food inside a plane. I also expect that their flight stewards are friendly because I hate those people who are much strict that causes some passengers to be afraid like me.
Fifth thing that I expect on my first plane ride is the attire of the crew inside a plane. I am much excited to see them how do they look. How pleasant they are, how nice they look at and all of the things that I want to see. I love to watch people which are neat and clean that’s why I make them as my inspiration of my daily life. Being pleasant to look at makes a person to be respected. I hope that I can also see the pilots’ attire if it looks like the security guards in our school. Hope it’s not because base on what I had saw on television, it’s funny to watch that it looks like security guards in their attire.
And the last thing that I expect is how warm they welcome us. It’s so nice to go back again to the airport if almost of the crew or workers in the airport will have a warm greetings in welcoming lots of passengers. Lots of things I expect on my first plane ride but all of this are nothing if we don’t ask Gods guidance. Every night I always include in my payers that we will have a safe trip for our coming flight this 2nd week of September. And I also include the most important thing that I expect in our plane ride is that we will going to have safe and nice trip not only in going to Manila but also in going back to our hometown after our nice and wonderful experience in our Major FTS in Manila.
